Junior League of St. Joseph: Teacher Grants

Program

The Junior League of St. Joseph is proud to offer two $500 grants to support educators in our community. These grants aim to assist teachers in furthering their education or enhancing their classroom resources, ensuring that they have the tools they need to continue making a positive impact on their students.

Grant Details

  • Amount: $500
  • Number of Grants: 2 
    • One New Teacher Grant: For educators who are new to education.
    • One Returning Teacher Grant: For teachers with experience who are committed to ongoing professional development
  • Additional Criteria
    • Grants must be used to enhance the teacher’s classroom or to further their education.  This includes but is not limited to educational conference registrations, purchasing materials for the classroom, expanding classroom curriculum, and tuition for advanced degrees.
  • Eligible Recipients:
    • Applicants must be currently employed as teachers in the St. Joseph area.
    • Immediate family members of Junior League of St. Joseph members are not eligible to apply.

  • Deadline: April 3rd, 2026
