Allison Atkinson is an assistant principal in the Park Hill School District and has spent 20 years in education as a whole. In Junior League, Allison has served as the Allocations Director, Advocacy Director, and is currently the President. She joined the Junior League to find a group of women who are passionate about their community and serving. Allison is connected to Northwest Missouri State University as a proud alumnus (OABAAB!) and an Adjunct Professor. She has served on the Alumni Board of Directors and the Foundation Board for the University. She also serves as the Membership Chair for the North Platte Athletic Booster organization. Allison and her husband Daniel have four kids and two dogs (who think they are the most important guard dogs and general beings on earth). When she isn’t chasing kids to activities she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, sewing, cooking, and watching movies. She finds joy in connecting people with what they are passionate about in all parts of their life including their personal and professional learning, networking, and serving.

I’m a mom of two young boys, ages 11 and 7. They keep me busy…and young! I recently married my best friend, Wes, and fulfilled a life-long dream of mine to travel to Ireland for our honeymoon. I’m a financial advisor with Integrity Wealth Management and have a passion for helping women create financial independence so they have a life full of choices. I play in a golf league with my husband. I’m not very good, but the fresh air is nice! I’m also an avid reader of murder mysteries – Mary Higgins Clark and Freida McFadden are my current favorites. If my family isn’t in the back yard fishing or playing board games, we’re likely at a baseball field or basketball court. And I wouldn’t change a thing.
I love being part of volunteer organizations for the steady stream of volunteer opportunities that are already established and ready for me to join. It makes it easy to stay connected to the community. I first learned about Junior League at the annual Women’s Forum. I remember listening to stories from the women in the room and seeing how they encouraged each other and spoke openly about topics that truly matter. I knew I wanted to spend more time around people like that, so I joined a couple of months later – and am so glad I did!

Stephanie was born and raised in St. Joseph. She earned her BA in Literature and her MA in Writing Studies at Missouri Western State University. After graduation, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona to teach English at Arizona State University. She is learning to grow a garden and become a better cook. She reads as much as she can and enjoys a cup of coffee to keep up with her curious toddler. She looks forward to traveling and soaking up all the wonder of the world, especially right here at home in her community. She lives in St. Joseph with her husband Matt, two sons, and their two happily drooling dogs. Stephanie teaches upper high school English at Benton High School and is ever humbled by the wisdom of her students as they grow into adulthood. She joined the Junior League of St. Joseph upon moving back to learn from an organization of women who are using their skills and time to reinforce and build our community; in following their examples she is volunteering to help foster the literacy, empathy, and support she believes matters greatly to build a positive present and future.

When I joined the Junior League in 2021, I was just hoping for a few community connections with some like-minded people. What I received was much greater and farther reaching. I have been able to grow as a leader, introduced to many local organizations, and able to volunteer with many of these organizations as well. Being a part of the League has been one of the best decisions I made for myself and my personal growth. Volunteering and giving back are a part of who I am, and I am thankful to the League for being the starting point.Current Role: President Elect

Abby Patterson is a life-long resident of St. Joseph, born and raised. Abby attended Northwest Missouri State University from 2006-2010, where she received a Bachelors Degree in Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education and she is currently working on her masters through Northwest Missouri State University. Abby has been teaching for nine years and has taught 2nd Grade, Kindergarten, and 1st grade for the Saint Joseph School District. In her free time, Abby enjoys traveling, learning new languages, shopping, spending time with her family and friends, and going to Kansas University Men’s Basketball games every season.

Hi, I’m Tasha Roberts! I’m the owner of B’Lashed Society in St. Joseph. Outside of Junior League, I enjoy spending time with my family—especially my grandsons—reading, volunteering in our community, and growing my business. I joined Junior League to become more involved in St. Joseph, build meaningful relationships, and continue growing as a leader.
